Some of my favorite memories have taken place during brunch. It’s a great way to relax with people important to you. Delicious food and complimentary cocktails go hand in hand with getting conversation flowing and bringing out the more hilarious sides of people and situations. This cocktail goes perfect with our Breakfast Salad, by the way.
Equipment: cocktails spoon, glass for stirring, strainer, chilled martini glass or coupe
2 oz bourbon
1½ oz amaretto
3 drops rose water
2 oz soda water
Candied flower petal for garnish
Combine amaretto, bourbon and rose water in glass with ice and stir for 20 seconds. Strain into chilled martini glass or coupe and top with soda water. Add a candied flower petal, it will sink to the bottom and keep adding flavor. It’s quite fun to add the garnish with a flourish as you’re serving this, just saying. Cheers!
