Not to brag or anything, but there are five boxes of Girl Scout Cookies in our house right now. Between March Madness and these cookies, this time of year is just what I need to shake off the early spring blues. This is definitely a dessert and I highly recommend dipping the cookie garnish in the drink before eating it.
Equipment: shaker, strainer, coupe or martini glass
2 oz vodka
1 tablespoon cream of coconut
1 tablespoon salted caramel sauce, plus more for garnish drizzle (the salted part is optional)
1 oz chocolate liqueur (Chopin makes a fantastic one)
1 oz milk
1 Samoa from your local Girl Scout
Drizzle caramel sauce into coupe or martini glass and hook a Samoa on the edge of the glass. Combine vodka, cream of coconut and 1 tablespoon caramel sauce in shaker. Shake with no ice (a dry shake) for 10 seconds. Open shaker and add chocolate liqueur, milk and ice. Shake for 15-20 seconds and strain into coupe or martini glass. Cheers!
